Multivaltia multiformis coral from Spain

Solitary Scleractinian corals don't seem to be as abundant as colonial species in the fossil record. Perhaps that is the reason that I like them so much or maybe it is a similarity to the look of the Rugose (Horn) corals of the Paleozoic. In either case I was please to receive the specimens below of Multivaltia multiformis from my friend Jenaro in Spain.

The above specimens come from the Aptian stage of the Cretaceous near the town of Jumilla, in the region of Murcia, Spain.
