Thamnopora from the Jeffersonville ls.

This is Thamnopora from the Jeffersonville Limestone. It's a branching tabulate coral that lived during the Devonian period (Eifelian) and was found in the coral zone of the Jeffersonville Limestone near Louisville, KY. I identified it using the book by Erwin Charles Stumm; "Silurian and Devonian Corals of the Falls of the Ohio".

This specimen has preserved the internal radiating nature of the coral fairly well.
